The Odisha Public Service Commission board has recently decided to hire almost 808 medical officers for the assistant surgeon posts in its recent notifications. There are about 808 vacant positions available in the notification of OPSC MO recruitment 2016-17 throughout the state and eligible candidates have a good opportunity to avail the facility. OPSC Medical officer recruitment 2016-17 Exam pattern and syllabus

As earlier mentioned that the selection process in OPSC for medical officers is through the written test and career markings, lets understand the exam pattern for more clarity.

  1. The written test will have only one objective type paper.
  2. The exam will be for a duration of 3 hours and for 200 marks.
  3. All 200 questions will be of objective type only.
  4. There will be no negative markings for any wrong answers.
  5. 70% marks are considered for the written test and 30% is considered for the career markings.
